Prof. (Dr.) D.K. Giri holds M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees from JNU, along with a Ph.D. from England and a Diploma in Public Relations from the London School of Public Relations. A prolific author, journalist, and political analyst, he has written 16 books and more than 700 articles, and regularly contributes as a columnist to seven weekly publications. He has travelled to over 70 countries for seminars, conferences, and various academic engagements. Prof. Giri is widely recognized for advocating a tri-sector approach, which emphasizes collaboration among the state, market, and civil society in governance. His intellectual interests are diverse, ranging from composing poetry and collecting political humor to writing socio-cultural novels.
